The Social Development Commission hosts the 2021 Summit on Poverty. Every year, we take a look at poverty from different perspectives. We explore new ways to knock down the four barriers that keep people in poverty: Trauma, Cognitive Dissonance, Isms, and Policy & Systems.
With this year’s theme Realities, Reflections, & Recovery: Surviving & Thriving 2020 & Beyond we will come together and find solutions that will impact our communities. 2020 showed us, like never before, how the four barriers contribute to social injustice, health disparities, and economic inequality that many will continue to experience for years to come. It’s time for transformation change and we are the ones to do it.
Due to COVID-19, we will offer virtual and in-person options for attendees. Take advantage of the FREE ticketing options available or purchase your ticket knowing that your funds are making a difference in your community.
Free admission is available to everyone. The Social Development Commission and its supporting sponsors are making it possible for everyone to attend for FREE by covering the cost of each ticket valuing from $95 to $250. All you need to do is select the FREE ticket options.
If you would like to pay the value of your admission select the PAID ticketing options. Your funds are supporting the work of the Summit on Poverty and the Social Development Commission.
